Aqualung - 2002 - Aqualung

Aqualung is further proof that the piano is the best and most powerful instrument in music. The first of they're two albums of 2002 is there debut album heince the selftitled album name. Its ambient piano rock thats what it is. Very chilled, laxed music that makes you feel distinguished after listening to it. The first song on this album is there single off it called "Strange and Beutiful (I put a spell on you)". In my opinon putting your hit song first on your album is not a great descion because the standards for the rest of the album is set too high. Not to say that the rest of the music isnt good but that its not better than the first track.

My Favorite Song: "Everything Changes"

Ambulance Ltd - 2004 - Ambulance Ltd

Ambulance Ltd is the fastest any band has made it into elite music folder. After one listen I knew instantly that they fit in with all my music tastes. Their debut album, Ambulance Ltd, is a very well planned album. With well timed highs and lows starting with there progressively intensifying intro and ending with a fitting finish in "Young Urban". They obviously new which songs would be there best chance at hits because they put them at the 2nd and 3rd tracks by starting with them they help the listener prepare for the rest of their songs. This is a very well rounded album that although not being totally great still will entertain listeners.

My Favorite Song: "Anecdote"

Air - 2004 - Talkie Walkie

Ok. My First Post and I'm starting alphabetically from my personal collection.

Air has been around for a while and has become a great succsess among passionate music lovers. Since they did work on there 2001 album, 10,000 Hz Legend, with my idol in music production, Ken Andrews, I've had a soft spot for them. This band shows that ambieance is a great tool to enhance great music. There newest album, Talkie Walkie, is there best yet. Showing that having a large number of influences is a very good thing.
